I know its June but here is my May box review!! Seeing that little red box a week or so ago in my mail made me so happy. After so much success with my April products I couldn’t wait to see what they had in store for me.
Damn that waffle cardboard and crinkle paper look good. I’m happy to see that the packaging stayed consistent between the months.
Ta da! My box included these amazing products:
- Heidi’s Salsa– Happy Medium
- Olivelle Toasted Coconut balsamic and Tahitian Lime olive oil
- Lori’s (The French Connection) Salt Caramel Syrup
- Stuart & Co Pork Spice Rub
- King Knish Five Spice(y) Ketchup
At first I was slightly thrown by the Olivelle balsamic and oil because I didn’t realize that they were different items. It made so much more sense when I saw that one was balsamic and one was olive oil. Durrr. Obviously they would provide a nice matching pair.
Swooning over my little tube of spice rub, love the packaging! I think it’s time I bought some nice, local pork from the farmer’s market.
Another gorgeous brochure with bio’s on all the products and suppliers. This month’s featured recipe was grilled peaches using Lori’s Caramel Syrup. Whoaaaa I wish I had a grill so bad! I may have to see how they taste pan fried. Is it wrong to just eat the syrup plain? 🙂
Once again, I’m beyond happy with my Hatchery box and absolutely can’t wait to try all my items. I still have some leftover items from my April box that may show up on the blog sometime soon.
Happy eating and discovering everyone.
